The collection and analysis of data on scientific production play a fundamental role in the continuity of research and advancement of specific areas of knowledge. In this context, this study aims to investigate the research profile related to the application of Lean Six Sigma in Industry 4.0. By using bibliometric techniques and consulting databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Scielo, 27 relevant articles were identified. The data were processed using software such as Microsoft Excel®, RStudio®, and Bibliometrix®. Descriptive statistical results highlighted the most referenced authors, articles, research groups, and journals, as well as the main topics addressed. The bibliometric analysis included articles published in different periods until mid-2023. Additionally, techniques such as keyword cloud, thematic map, and dendrogram were employed to highlight the most discussed topics and identify promising areas for future research. This study has the potential to drive scientific progress by stimulating the generation of new approaches, theories, and unique perspectives in the field of Lean Six Sigma, which is crucial for operational excellence in organizations.
