Estudo de caso sobre ESG e inovação na construção civil brasileira

Este estudo aborda a implementação dos padrões ESG (ambientais, sociais e de governança) no setor de construção civil brasileiro, com foco nas práticas adotadas pelas empresas e nos desafios enfrentados para integrar essas práticas ao seu desempenho organizacional. O objetivo é analisar como a adoção de critérios ESG impacta o desempenho no mercado e avaliar o papel da inovação nesse processo. A pesquisa seguiu uma metodologia qualitativa e exploratória, que incluiu revisão bibliográfica, estudo de caso em cinco empresas do setor da construção civil e entrevistas com gestores e stakeholders. A análise dos dados foi baseada na abordagem de análise de conteúdo de fontes. Os resultados indicam que, embora as empresas tenham incorporado práticas ESG, principalmente no que se refere à governança corporativa, persistem desafios significativos na implementação de práticas ambientais e sociais. A resistência à inovação e às mudanças disruptivas é mais acentuada em empresas de menor porte, enquanto as empresas maiores apresentam maior capacidade de adoção de práticas sustentáveis e inovadoras. Além disso, a inovação se mostrou uma estratégia importante para reduzir impactos ambientais e melhorar a eficiência operacional. O estudo conclui que a integração de práticas ESG e inovação não é apenas uma tendência, mas uma necessidade estratégica para garantir a competitividade e a sustentabilidade do setor a longo prazo, destacando a importância de políticas públicas e incentivos fiscais para fomentar a adoção dessas práticas.
