Mapa de fluxo de valor estendido a avaliação do desempenho energético em consumidores industriais: um estudo de caso brasileiro

Resumo


O setor industrial consome a maior parcela da energia demandada no Brasil e no mundo, em particular a eletricidade, e melhorias na sua performance energética proporcionam benefícios ambientais e econômicos a todas as partes envolvidas na cadeia de suprimentos. Uma forma de avaliação do desempenho energético é por meio da extensão da ferramenta Mapa do Fluxo de Valor, do Lean Manufacturing, incorporando outros insumos. Entretanto, não há convergência para um modelo em comum, carece de informações operacionais sobre a modelagem energética das operações e falta uma análise dos desperdícios no impacto global da organização. A partir disso, é proposta uma extensão do MFV para viabilizar a avaliação do desempenho de insumos energéticos de uma organização industrial. Devido ao setor elétrico ter impacto tanto em questões ambientais como econômicas, suas regras de fornecimento são utilizadas como referência. O estudo apresenta um estudo de caso no qual foram identificados desperdícios com o método proposto e resultados positivos obtidos.
