Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects represent a growing type of contract in the market. This kind of large project involves high costs, and different interfaces, so that engineering companies always need to find new methods and knowledge in project management. Therefore, this study aims to understand the influence of knowledge management practices (KMPs) in obtaining success of EPC projects in Brazilian engineering companies. So, one survey research with the participation of 94 professionals in project management area was held. Which, they analyzed 37 pre KMPs defined in this study, associating them with the theoretical model of success dimensions also proposed by this work. The results of logistic regression determined that 5 KMPs have important significance for each dimension, and 3 contribute to the success of this type of project. So from a scientific point of view, the results of this study extend the understanding of the subject studied and offer the professional point of view the opportunity to apply improvements through identified PGC sand thereby help the decision making by managers of this type of projects.Downloads
