Implementation of the PDCA Cycle and quality tools in the maintenance management of a basic sanitation company

Regardless of the type of activity, having reliable processes is a goal shared by all organizations. Although the assertion remains valid in the context of basic sanitation, the best Quality Management practices responsible for promoting consistently high levels of stability in the processes practiced have not yet been well defined, especially in the context of public organizations. Thus, the present work, a Quali-Quantitative research, consists of the implementation of Quality Tools and the PDCA Cycle in the maintenance management of a Brazilian public company of the basic sanitation sector, during which seven action plans were executed with different levels of success, indicating both efficient and indadivasible practices from the Quality Management point of view.
