The increasing demand for healthier and more efficient buildings has encouraged the integration of digital technologies and sustainability certification systems in the construction sector. This study explores the feasibility of integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) with the WELL certification in the design process of a residential building. The case study focuses on a project developed on an underused plot in downtown Florianópolis, Brazil, where WELL guidelines were incorporated into architectural modeling using Revit and project coordination through Solibri. The research demonstrates that BIM can effectively support the implementation of WELL requirements by enhancing design efficiency, improving project planning, and reducing execution errors. Moreover, integrating BIM with sustainable certification systems facilitates the early adoption of environmental and well-being strategies during the initial design phases. The findings highlight that this synergy contributes to creating healthier, more efficient, and resilient built environments. Ultimately, the study reinforces the importance of BIM and certification frameworks as strategic tools to improve project quality, promote sustainability, and align construction practices with the United Nations 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
