This article investigates sustainability in supply chains, analyzing strategies that companies can adopt to reduce environmental and social impacts. The research proposes a systematic literature review (SLR) on sustainable practices, including the selection of ethical suppliers, the use of green technologies to reduce carbon footprint, and the implementation of efficient logistics systems. The SLR reveals a significant global increase in interest in the topic, identifying four relevant research connections. The findings indicate that initiatives focused on product design to minimize waste and the promotion of dignified working conditions are essential for mitigating negative impacts. The analysis also considers companies' strengths and weaknesses as internal factors, along with external opportunities and threats related to sustainability. The conclusion is that sustainability in the supply chain is a strategic necessity, not a passing trend. Companies that adopt these principles will be better prepared to face future challenges, contributing to more balanced and equitable economic development, aligning environmental and social responsibility with operational efficiency.
